The Building Services Team maintains all Nexcess properties. Their tasks include, among others, light maintenance, cleaning, furniture procurement, facilities inventory and supplies control, shipping and receiving, organizing spare parts stocks, minor repairs, carpet cleaning, and contract coordination.
Clean, organize, and maintain all public and private spaces, including, but not limited to data centers, bathrooms, dining area and appliances, walkways and courtyard, offices, storage, and conference rooms.
Perform minor maintenance as needed, and proactively communicate greater issues to management team.
Follow safety regulations and security protocol.
Ship and receive deliveries; enforce company package-handling policy.
Procure and install furniture, lights, and other supplies.
Relentless attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Strong organizational skills and the ability to produce meaningful results when unsupervised
Able to pass background check
On-call availability for emergencies
Lifting and moving of equipment, furniture, and other objects
Cleaning and maintenance in a climate-controlled environment and outdoors
